New! Improvements for 2016-17 Snow Season
Odd Numbered Street Side Parking
To help plows navigate our busy Arlington streets, we're encouraging drivers to park on the odd numbered side of the street, where feasible. Parking on the even side is ok too – just work with your neighbors to pick a side of the street in advance of a significant snow event.
More Plows During Large Snow Events
For snow fall greater than 6 inches, we're piloting a program to plow some residential areas in phase 3 at the same time as arterial roadways in phase 2 (learn more about our phases), so snow accumulation remains manageable by our fleet.
Snow Form Improvements
We've refined the user experience of our snow form to provide better context for users if we are unable to address their report immediately.
Snow Blower Program Refined
Based on resident feedback, we streamlined the application process, program outreach and training.
